LAMMP users have access to a variety of resources, including multidimensional optical tools for imaging and manipulating living cells and near-infrared optical tools for characterizing and imaging physiology in tissues. In addition, users can take advantage of LAMMP's service personnel and support facilities.

Core Technologies


Virtual Photonics Technologies

For developing computational models and methods that advance the performance of biophotonic technolgies, and enhance the information content derived from optical measurements. Interested users and developers should visit www.virtualphotonics.org.
Microscopy and Microbeam Technologies

For high-resolution functional imaging and manipulation of living cells and tissues.
Multimodality Endoscopic Technologies

Systems that can perform in vivo imaging of tissue structure, composition, and physiology with high imaging speed, contrast, sensitivity, and spatial resolution.
Diffuse Optical Technologies

Model-based optical technologies based on multiply scattered light that are capable of quantitative subsurface metabolic spectroscopy and imaging across spatial scales.
