CATS

The Confocal Ablation Trapping System (CATS) is a highly developed multi-purpose multi-mode system for cell manipulation and visualization built on a platform of inverted Zeiss laser scanning microscope LSM 410. Standard internal confocal microscope optics are replaced with two quartz dichroic beamsplitters (260-380nm, 420-650nm, and 700-1070 nm) to integrate cell manipulation tools known as "optical tweezers" and "optical scissors".
